The TV coverage is so mediocre that I have decided to post during the election returns. Your best bet on TV is Fox TV because Michael Barone is the election analyst. So far the Indiana returns are interesting. It looks as of now that the Republicans are holding their own in Indiana. Only Hostettler is now losing among the Republicans. That loss is no surprise and is not a harbinger of a big Democrat night. In Kentucky, watch Republican incumbent Northup who is in a tight race. Republican Davis was also leading. A big Indiana race is Republican Chocola who is leading by slim margin. So far no signs of the Democratic wave, but some of these races have only a few returns in. In Va., an amendment against gay marriage and civil unions passed. So far, so good.
Update: Follow the returns with Jim Geraghty at NationalReview.com. He says (citing Michael Barone) that the exit polls are wrong, but the networks are calling races based on the exit polls. Here is the link.
